Ikura is Salmon Roe in Japanese. It is made by Masu salmon roe and is usually used to compliment sushi and rice bowls. The translucent, bright orange eggs has nice salty flavour that bursts in your mouth.
Masu salmon Ikura has smaller piece of roe compare to chum salmon ikura & it has softer skin hence you will feel it like melt in your mouth! Interesting!
